Please replace the ??? with your data!

  • Your URL:
  • The browser used: firefox
  • cforms version: 8.6.1
  • Your Wordpress version: 2.6

[desc]:I have two caetgories of reponses that I need to track separately for an event. One is for visitors and the other is for exhibitors. I can segregate them after download, but would it be possible to have a different database for each category?

not with the current version of cforms.

you can write however your own custom SQL to retrieve the data fully categorized from the the cforms tables.

Thanks, Oliver. I'll just handle it after download. I love your recipes, by the way, and I will point them out to my wife. We'll be sure to try some of them out. Good luck on your book! Really exciting, isn't it?

Even though it's Nicky's book, I'm not short of being just about as excited as she is :-)

Will this function for multiple db be available in the next version? The heart trasplant as you so fondly refer to it as?

Can you suggest a WP form plugin that does do this that you don't totally think is crap?

Cheers

There is already too much going on with v9 as it is, besides I see little value add in splitting up form submissions across multiple DB tables, in fact, I'm quite sure that the majority of the users will claim that will only clutter up their DB space.

You can try and you use my-functions.php/action and copy paste the DB write routine and adjust to your liking..., then disable general DB tracking in global settings.

No. I can't even think of one that does tracking at all.
