I've added it to the $field variable under the case "checkbox", but it throws an error when I submit the form. Is there somewhere else that I need to add it?

I didn't see where in the standard UI config that I could add the checked="checked". I would rather change it there than having to go into cfforms.php. Where does it give me the option to make that change?
