_Hi, the strangest thing happened. I was working on my wordpress site and needed to have a contact form, so i downloaded and installed the latest version of cforms.
Immediately after being installed, my site slowed to nearly a stand still, so i quickly deactivated the plugin. (it was taking about a minute to load a page when cforms was activated in contrast to 4s).
Although i deactivated the plugin, load times still did not return to normal. I deleted the plugin manually, tried to use db manager to repair/optimize the database in case something had happened, and still no luck.
I deactivated ALL my plugins, and the results are no different. All i know is that this happened right after activating cforms, but i don't understand why the affects are not reversible.
Has anyone here come across a problem like this? Any ideas on what to do? Could cforms have affected some part of my site that i'm not aware of even though it has already been deleted?
