Hi Oliver,
It's me again. Just a quick question: is there a way to enable cookies for the comment form? That means the username, email is automatically retained when the same user wants to comment again.

That makes sense, I'll look into it. PS: COOKIES are in fact enabled/used, cforms is probably just not considering those when rendering the form…

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't reply to this post – as it is already very old – but I'm wondering whether this is such a good idea. What if people post comments on public computers, or a computer is used by more persons. Retaining user data in a cookie enad reading those data into input fields, would mean that anyone could post comments under the previous users name. I cannot see the point.
As an option, fine by me, so I am currently looking for a way to get rid of this cookie setting, as I don't consider this safe the way it is implemented now. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this cookie???
