Not sure what you're trying to do, but the form layout you've chosen doesn't fit the width of your sidebar column, try the sidebar-layout.css theme, which you may have to adjust further to fully meet your requirements.

Thank you for your quick repsonse Oliver.

I am sorry, I do not believe that I made myself very clear in the previous post.

What I am trying to do is have the contact form appear on the Contact Us webpage when the Contact Us button is clicked on. The Contact Us button is located on the top right side of the Homepage.

Thank you for making and providing such a wonderful tool to the community, it is great!

Thank you in advance.

Sorry for being slow, the menu item (contact us) points to the page where the form is located. The form shows immediately, there seems to be no additional button on the form page.

It all seems to work just fine. :-)

I have a similar question.

I just downloaded the form maker so I am using the latest release.

I use Firefox 2.0.11

My site in progress is http://socemot.com

WP 2.3.1

I want to use this instead of mailto links. Each email link on the page I would like to activate a contact form. The contact form is not visible until a visitor clicks on the link. I'm sure this is possible but I can't figure out how.

Also if you look on the contact page, there is a contact form visible, actually 3. I would like there to always be one visible- not 3 but I couldn't figure out how to do it, but have a drop down menu for the subject, website questions, general info, and news additions. The problem is that each subject goes to a different person. Can the email get automatically filled in depending on the subject chosen?

I love this plug in and want to get to know how to use it better.

Looking at your contact page, I suggest you boil your forms down to 1:

Take a look at he HELP page, look for 'Multiple recipients drop down box'.

Instead of using actual Names to pick, you could choose a subject, such as "Questions about site or report problems" etc.

cforms will then route the submitted data to the person listed in the admin email address field.

Okay so i made some changes but still don't have it right.

Let me explain better.

http://socemot.com

There are 3 choices I'd like to have for a subject. I'd prefer that they are a drop down menu but it is fine the way it looks now if need be.

General Info

Site Info

Membership Info

If General info is selected then the message gets delivered to one email.

If Site Info is selected then the message gets delivered to another email.

If Membership Info is selected the message gets delivered to a 3rd email.

I have all 3 emails entered into the form.

I don't know how to connect the dots, like how to make it so that when 1 subject is chosen only one of the email addresses gets the message. Right now, if I understood correctly, everyone will receive all messages.

I understood what you're trying to do, but perhaps I was too cryptic in my answer.

  1. Instead of using a multi-select box, use a "Multiple recipient" field, configuration stays the same
  2. In the admin email field enter all email addresses, in the order of the subjects of (1): e.g. email1@here.com,email2@here.com,email3@there.com

PS: to fix your slight CSS issues, add a

ol.cf-ol { margin:0pt!important; }

to your cforms CSS file.

Thanks so much, it works perfectly now, now I'm going to add it to another site of mine http://francetales.com so thanks for the prompt responses.
