Please replace the ??? with your data!
- Your URL: Not Live Yet
- The browser used: Firefox 2.0.0.16
- cforms version: 8.6.2
- Your Wordpress version: 2.6.1
[desc]:
The confirmation e-mails always display {Your Name} instead of the individual's name. Is there any way I can get this to stop?

Correct it, per your configuration. Your online Help! page contains some good info. I know, I know, reading can be a tedious thing...

Wow...assuming that I hadn't read any help files is rather pretentious, isn't it? I wasn't able to find an answer for this problem.
Perhaps you could point me to where I can find the answer, rather than being vague. I'm simply looking for help, not snarky answers.

Out of the 3000 'support request' I've gotten so far, roughly 70% were covered by either the FAQs, the Help! page that comes with every cforms install or the forum.
I didn't claim by the way that you hadn't read any help files, please reread above.
I merely pointed out *perhaps with a bit of cynicism* that the Help! page included good info, here an excerpt:
7. Using variables in email subject and messages
Subjects and messages for emails both to the form admin as well as to the visitor (auto confirmation, CC:) support insertion of pre-defined variables and/or any of the form input fields.
Note that the variable names are case sensitive!

I don't come to the forums because I have a burning desire to post and then wait for answers. I ALWAYS consult documentation first. I'm a very busy person who works on multiple freelance projects as well as a full-time job. This is my last resort, and I'm not here for a handout.
In regard to what you pasted, I know that section, because I've read it over and over again. None of the variables listed there are the {Your Name} variable.
Simply put, with default settings, the auto confirmation e-mail doesn't work:
<div style="text-align:center; color:#aaa; border-bottom:1px solid #aaa"> <strong>auto confirmation message, {Date}</strong> </div><br />
<p><strong>Dear {Your Name},</strong></p> <p>Thank you for your note!</p> <p>We will get back to you as soon as possible.</p>
It comes back as this:
Dear {Your Name},
Thank you for your note!
We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Since we're both busy individuals, I guess the only difference then is that I provide free software & free support while you get paid to do it ;-) Anyway, no offence, let's put it at rest.
Dear {Your Name},...
Of course this ought to work with the default form which should come with a name field, called (complete config string): Your Name
To double check what the referenceable really is, simply
- turn on DB tracking,
- make a test submission
- and check what has been recorded (the label name to the left is important)
Withouth seeing the form (your URL) it's hard to help otherwise.

Just leave the "Your Name" field so the {Your Name} will work fine. And HELP is as important as History.TXT read.
Appreciate please!!!
