Please replace the ??? with your data!
- Your URL: http://???
- The browser used: ???
- cforms version: ???
- Your Wordpress version: ???
[desc]:I have been using cforms for a while, but today I have a problem I cannot understand. I started with afresh install of WP 2.5.1 – not an upgrade. I have akismet, vpip, vpip video archive installed and active. I loaded a fresh install of cfroms 8.5 and activated it. The only place it shows up is in wp widgets – not plugins. There is no way to access or configure it. In fact the widget file asks "add standard contact?". I did so and got a mess in the sidebar.
I went through the whole process again to see if I had a bad install. Everything is the same. Is there some compatability problem I don't know about?
The url is a new video blog I am building: http://flames-tv.com; browser:firefox; cform 8.5; wp 2.5.1 _

No errors when you activated cforms?
Are you using Role Manager or anything like that?
Is it an IIS server?
What if you disable all other plugins?

The plugin activated as normal. No errors.
I am not using roll manager.
The server is at Blue Host and it uses Apache 2.2.8/Linux server.
I disabled all other plugins-no change.
The theme I am using is based on K2.
I can't think of anything else to tell you. Let me know if you need any further info.
Thanks

have you installed it in a different folder (other than plugins/cforms/)?

No. It is in plugins. Like I said, I uninstalled it and reinstalled just to be sure and there is no change.

I just took another look and indeed you installed it in a different location: it must be
plugins/cforms
not
plugins/cforms.8.5

Oliver,
Part of your post was cut off. What did you say after "it must be"?
It is istalled in Plugins with the other plugins that work fine.

Oliver,
I took another look at your post and now I understand it. The cforms folder was inside the cforms 8.5 folder. That did not dawn on me before, but it should have. Since it activated as 8.5 I thought the problem was elsewhere.
Anyway, it is now loaded as cforms and all appears fine. I haven't configured it yet but everything is there to do so.
Thank you so much for your help.
