Thanks for detailed info.

However, your site not being directly accessible, it's impossible to troubleshoot.

The FAQs do list a few reasons why it could stall, see under IIS, blog URI prefix. Also, since you've got Firebug, open up the Console, hit "Submit" and take a look at the post and return parameters, there is usually an error message "hidden" in there.

If you don't have any unusual mail server issues and haven't set the SMTP settings, I'm almost going to take a bet that the issue is covered by the FAQs ;-)

Hi,

Thanks for reply!

Here the error message with FireBug :

X POST http://localhost:8888/404 (63ms)

It seams that there is a problem with finding a page/file !?

No problem, i find that normal to do.

I know, sorry. Tomorrow i gonna try to put it on a live server.

No IIS – FireBug : see my previous reply

No SMPT no unusual mail server. I have tried everything from the FAQ.

Thanks to have a look at my dirty previous mail with FireBug report.

First of all: cforms II is a fantastic plugin, in my opinion the best contact form plugin for wp ever! Thanks a lot for the excellent work!

But I must confirm the problem since v6.1. It hangs on "One moment please", and it's not possible to reload the captcha image.

This is trange, since i testet functionality once after upgrading to v6.1, and meant it worked once.

The problem occurs in the nasty IE7 as well as in FF.

You might check my domain provided in my email address, and then go to "Kontakt" to reproduce the failure. I will keep it set to "use ajax" for some days to show you, – but atm it's impossible to submit something when ajax is enabled.

Again, thanks for your great plugin. I'm shure I'm not the only one who prays for you solving this soon …

P.S.: environment php v4.4.2, register_globals on, safe_mode off, if that might help …

No IIS – FireBug : see my previous reply

Bart,it's getting late over here but just a thought: I did notice a /DSM/?page_id=4 , so in case you are using a URI prefix, try what the FAQ suggest (even though you're not running on an IIS server). Edit cforms.js to accomodate a non default path. Give it a shot.

Same thing here, you're blog is running under /blog/ . Please take a look at cforms.js and try adjusting

var sajax_uri = '/';

to

var sajax_uri = '/blog/'; or so…

Hi,

Thanks for your time and clear explanation!

I has put after reading the faq :

var sajax_uri = ‘/DSM/?page_id=4’;

now i have put :

var sajax_uri = ‘/DSM/’;

It works!

Sorry for this stupid mistake.

Bit by bit i am becoming a webdesigner that also is a small web developer. :)

Regards, Bart
