It doesn't work as a mu-plugin, but as a regular plugin with the plugin commander http://wpmudev.org/plugins.php it does.
Problem is if you want to have a standard form on all blogs, I can't figure that out.

What you can do is provide your own form presets in the cforms /formpresets/ folder. This way you can provide your WPMU users with more than just one 'default' form or presets.
Take a look at the format which at first may seem a bit cryptic, but I think is pretty self explanatory.

I'm using cforms-8.2 and wpmu-2.3.3 with plugin-commander, it doesn't work, when enabled all i get is this message: "All cforms data has been erased". I've tried disabling/enabling but it doesn't seem to install…

How are you able to get it to work with Plugin Commander? For me I get the message:
All cforms data has been erased!
When trying to install it with Plugin Commander. If anyone can help on this it would be appreciated as I need the flexibility offered by Plugin Commander.
Thanks!

I'm getting the same results as Jon and WebHome above.

No, the FAQ didn't help. Any other ideas?

!!!! I had cforms 8.6 working GREAT on wpmu 2.6. I set up multiple forms in several different blogs and it worked flawlessly. The only problem was the TINYMCE insert button was returning a 404 error. I had already tried 8.7 but I could not get it to install (the same "all data has been erased" error as above). I uninstalled 8.6 installed 8.6.2 with no change to the TINYMCE button and I lost the ability to use the DB Tracking feature. I decided to just go back to 8.6 but now I am getting the same "all data has been erased" error as the other versions and I can't get any version of cforms to work on my wpmu.
An absolutely SUPERB plugin!! I sure want it to work for us!! Oliver, can you please help??

the same "all data has been erased" error as above
has been discussed numerous times. try the direct link for plugin activation, not the checkbox.
sometimes it helps loggin out & back in. and activating/disabling a few times…don't ask me why, but with WP 2.6 this all started, seems like some buggy core WP code…
