Hello, first of all thank you!! for nice plugin.

everythin worked fine until, testing it myself, i pushed the 'send' button in the form on the site I'm working on (yoiu can test it also: http://www.lenoren.com/wordpress/?page_id=14

It remains in the 'patience, your rrequest is being handled'. What could be the cause of this?

Filip, It seems that your web servers PHP implementation doesn't support the command mb_convert_encoding(), that's at least what the Ajax/JS error tells me. Not sure if you can change your PHP version for the hosting package you have, alternatively you could go into the code and try to swap this part (if you run your blog on UTF-8, you can live without it):

(~line 425, cforms.php)

$value = mb_convert_encoding(utf8_decode($params ['field_' . $i]), get_option('blog_charset'));

with

$value = $params ['field_' . $i];

If all fails, you can just try to turn of Ajax support for this form and it should work just fine.

EDIT : corrected the above code

Thx for reply.

 On that specific line i find:

  $value = mb_convert_encoding(utf8_decode($params ['field_' . $i]), get_option('blog_charset')); instead of the line you suggesting…Am I looking in the right place?

And as you suggested, without the AJAX enabled, it works fine. What is AJAX,do I need this?

Filip, I just corrected the above code sample. The line you've found is the correct one :)

You can still try that if you'd like to use Ajax for form submission, it essentially allows the visitor to send the form without reloading the page and also does javascript based form validation (again, no page reloading required).
