This is weird. I have installed a fresh Wordpress 2.6.5 and cForms 9.3. I restored a form and all the backslash characteres disappeared.
That should not be a problem but I was using them for the typical "max. number of characters" in a regexp, so at this time I can not validate any field.
Suspecting it was a problem with my files I did the same procedure in another server and the test went fine. I decided that my cforms9.3.zip file was the culprit so I deactivated the plugin, removed the directory and unzipped it from the file I knew was working and I got the same problem.
Going further I did the Global Settings > Uninstalling/Removing cForms > Clear ALL data, then deactivated the plugin and deleted the directory. Then I unzipped the fresh copy and activated it and my problem is still there.
Any ideas what can be happening?

OfflineThis could be a server setting, some don't like backslashes. Especially in IIS environments I see this every once in a while.
