[desc]: Hello, cforms will not submit when Ajax is on – message says 'One moment please …' and it hangs up at that point. If I turn off ajax it will work. Also the tracking data will not show up in admin – stays stuck on 'Processing, please wait …'.

Using firebug I can see 500 Internal Server Error. this is the one I get on Tracking:

500 Internal Server Error

Also when I create a new page in visual mode and click the cforms button, the popup has 500 Internal server error.

I have tried reinstalling cforms and tried upgrading to latest version but I still get the same thing. Everything used to work fine before, the only thing I can think of is I moved servers, but I used to have it working fine on that server before and also I have moved other websites the exact same way and had no problems.

Any ideas?

I've figured out the problem myself – it was a permissions issue. wp-content and wp-content/plugins directories had permissions set to 777. I caught onto it after looking in the error logs and finding:

SoftException in Application.cpp:508: Directory "…/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins" is writeable by group

so I changed permissions on those 2 directories to 755 and it works again. A bit strange that more liberal permissions cause a problem when it is usually lack of permissions that cause problems but anyway that was the problem.
