I searched – so maybe I'm looking uner the wrong serach terms, so apologies if this has been asked before. 

I'm looking to add a file attachment (PDF) to the email that's sent out as an auto-reply.  One of the forms I'm working on is a request for said PDF, so we'd like to have the auto-reply just send the email I've written up, with the PDF attached.  The PDF will also change occasionally, but if we have to do that vis FTP, that's fine.  but I'd like to know if there's a way to set this option – I can't find info on it anywhere.

Nope, can't add attachments to the auto conf email for now, not by configuration anyway.
