Quoteok it would be better for me just to explain
I've got a form with 3 different fields to enter phone numbers (home, cell, and work) but I doubt a lot of people will either have or want to part with all 3 so is there away to make it so that only one is required?

There is no support for cross input field logic, ie. if field a is filled in, then field b doesn't have to be etc. What you could do, is to ask for a 'primary' contact number and then add two alternative numbers…just a thought.
