Please replace the ??? with your data!
- URL to the FORM: http://???
- The browser used: Firefox 3.0.4
- cforms version: 9.4
- Your Wordpress version: 2.7
[desc]: _
When I click on the tiny mce button to add a cform to a page or post, the popup window that appears is the 404 error page of my site (in that tiny popup window) instead of the "choose a cform" options.
I have checked the abspath.php file and it is there and correct. I have never had this happen before.
The site this is happening on is on the same server as all my other sites so I don't think it's a server prob because it isn't happening on my other sites.
I don't know what else to check to troubleshoot this. This is a clean install of cforms 9.4. This wasn't an upgrade.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

could be an upload issue, or a specific domain / .htaccess setting

It could be…so how do I know? What do I need to check in the htaccess file?
I don't know how it would be an upload issue.

some uploads get corrupted, try with a new download from wp.org and re-upload to your server.
re: specific domain / .htaccess setting , you may want to get in touch with your provider.
btw, have you checked if you actually can access the file directly via the browser locator?
http://…your_site.com/wp-content/plugins/cforms/js/insertdialog25.php?ver=20081129
What happens then?

When I try to access the file directly in my browser, just exactly as you have typed (except obviously my site info put it) I get a 404 error.
Should I be able to view it…even when it has the ?ver=20081129 after it? The insertdialog25.php file is there and okay but would I still get an error because it can't find it with that ver info at the end of the url?

the ? is harmless it just adds parameter, I suspect you get an error with and without.
yes, this file should load fine and simply produce an empty white screen, but no 404.

Well maybe I'll just deactivate it, delete the plugin folder and try a reinstall and see what happens. Will let you know. Thanks for the help :)

Nope. Clean reinstall didn't fix it.
Could it be a conflict with another plugin? The only other plugins I have activated are Reveal IDs and Theme Switcher reloaded.

No I don't think so. Check with your provider and ask them why you're not able to access the file directly (and instead gives a 404).
Since you get the 404 even when you *directly* (via browser) access the file, it must have to do with either server side URL rewriting, possibly access permissions (not visible to the server process) etc.

Thanks Oliver. I'll check with them and see. Wanted to exhaust all possible options before doing that.
It's weird because all my sites are on one virtual private server. Funny I'm having problems with just this site, but I've realized weird things happen all the time with programs, etc. :)
I'll let you know how this is resolved so in case anyone else has the same problem it might help.

Well I'm embarrased to say it was a permission issue with the plugins folder. Corrected that and all is well.
Thank you!
