Offlinei googled & looked all over the place, but can't see the form…

firefox
alluremm.com/blog
wordpress 2.6 <just up dated>
CLEARD out cookies to fix the WORDPRESS login problem with 2.6 over the 2.5.1.
8.5.1 – Captcha works / sending email works
8.5.2 – Captcha does nothing and when trying to send it give the generic message "One Moment Please" and get no where..
I'm sure the problem is based on the same reason but I just copied my 8.5.1 backup on top of the 8.5.2 which I installed that was not working and all is perfect again.. Captcha working and emails sending… Any ideas??
Thanks a bunch!!
Best wishes,
Joseph

OfflineThe one (CAPTCHA) is connected to the other, with that said, it tested your site it works 100% fine.
Did you purge browser cache and hit shift+reload ?

Sorry for the delay in reply but say I did clear everything out.. I also loaded IE that I have NEVER used (FRESH / VIRGIN) and it did the same thing with the new update. Umm would you suggest that I copy over the last version with the new once again for you to check it out to see what is going on? Thanks; let me know.. Best wishes, Joseph

OfflineSure, try again, make sure you deactivate & properly activate cforms again (not just replacing the files).

UPDATE
I installed 8.5.2 on another site (URL) with a fresh install of 2.6 wp and it failed to:
a: flip Captcha images
b: display popup calander
c: send email
seems like a Java issue at first glance but after reviewing PERMISSIONS (DIFF) between the working 8.5.1 alluremm.com/blog and the brand new test insall at getfloridaonsale.com/blog everything was prefect.
I simply deactivated tjhe 8.5.2; removed the "widget" then deleted the directory. Went back into the plugin menu to make sure it was completely gonna and tested the site.
Then cp -R (copied) from alluremm to getflorida the cforms directory which has 8.5.1 installed within and then activated and installed the widget and changes the styling to fit within the small col using styling = "
sidebar-layout.css"
Now:
a: flip Captcha images * *worked **
b: display popup calander **did not work**
c: send email **worked**
Since the ability to change captcha rotating and sending of email worked I'm getting close!
I am considering doing a DIFF on each and every file to see what you changed from 8.5.1 to 8.5.2 to see if I can figure out this problem myself.. Let me know what you come up with.. Thanks!

Offlineb: display popup calander **did not work**
Can you share the URL? Otherwise it's just guessing…(make sure that date picker is in fact enabled under global options).

I no longer have 8.5.2 online at any of my urls. I downgraded to 8.5.1 for right now. I will try again.
Q: Can I have a say cforms-new and a cforms in my pluggins <active> and use both of them at once? Say, one being production (working) 8.5.1 and the other can be 8.5.2 which I can mess with to try and get it to work?
Q: Also, can we have a seperate "styling" for multiple form or can there only be one style "globally" for all cforms that we create?
BTW: You were right that the date picker was not active.
Thanks again.

Same problem: my form hangs on the 'one moment please'.
I checked cforms.js already and it seems to be ok.

Offlinethis is the issue you're having:
Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465 (Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?) in C:\\Program Files\\wamp\\www\\wp-content\\plugins\\cforms\\phpmailer \\class.smtp.php on line 122
+:var res = '1*$#nError occurred while sending the message:
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.|!!!'; res;
It seems that you're trying to send to your gmail account, make sure that your web server supports Open SSL (see FAQ, too).
10:08 pm
Thanks to your suggestions I found a guide on the Internet on how to enable SSL support on Apache and currently the form on my blog seems to work correctly.
Unfortunately I still have a problem I don't know how to solve (I'm very sorry, but I'm a newbie): after submitting the form I don' t know where the message field content is delivered. Actually I expected to receive such a content in the mails that are delivered to the administrator mailbox after submitting the form, but this is not the case!
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the precious help so far.

Beppe
