[desc]: I want to have a dropdown with two or three choices, each choice revealing a different sub-form. I want the subforms to be hidden till a selection is made.

Is CForms capable of this, or does this need additional javascript/php development?

I have registered again, this time as <<margot>> as the original margotdarby registration seems to be lost. To clarify what I am asking for the conditional form field:

I want the visitor to respond with one of a series of options, let us say: A, B, C, or D. This would be by a checkbox or dropdown.

When the visitor chooses an option, I want a new subform to appear, specific to that choice. That is, there will be slight differences among the subforms. So if you choose A, you get one subform, if you choose B you get the B subform, and so forth.

Please let me know if this is possible. I have looked at a 5 or 6 form plugins and find CForms II the best available!

I still see 'margotdarby' in the system.

This has been asked many times before, key words: jQuery / Javascripts / dynamic forms.

In short, yes, but all form data needs to be loaded (then partially hidden).
