We are using cForms for a client who receives applications for spiritual retreats – they collect a host of information from each participant in advance. This helps them sets the agenda, tone, and focus of each event.
QUESTION: There is concern from some of the participants in countries where spiritual information (in this case, Christian) needs to be sent securely because of the government's crackdown on Christianity. They are concerned that if they input the information over cForms (submitted to the Stateside webmaster), that their information is not secure and could compromise their work in their host country. I am contacting our security manager for our website, but thought I would ask it here – is there anything abotu submitting data through cForms that could be a security risk for a participant? Does the data submitted through cForms pass through any kind of secured portal, or is that a hosting issue only? Just checking here first . . .
