When the visitor fills out the contact form, I would be able to see this information. This allows a webmaster to figure out which pages are the best converting.
Yes, but the data isn't as useful unless it can be linked to an exact content.
Example:
We're trying to track the performance of both our SEO and PPC campaigns. The PPC campaigns link to landing pages that can only be accessed through a PPC link. When people contact us, if we could see that link in the e-mail, we can consider that a successful conversion of the PPC ad. We have a contact box in the sidebar of every page, so if a person contacts us from a page that isn't the original landing page, we may incorrectly attribute it to an SEO campaign rather than PPC because the referer only shows that one page.
The company I work for would be willing to pay for this feature to be added. If interested, respond and I'll shoot you an e-mail with my contact information.
