This is not really a feature request, but rather a request to time these upgrade and fix releases further apart, as they seem to be coming out every few weeks, and it's a pain in the ass to upgrade every single time... especially if I end up customizing the name of the plugin (cforms|| doesn't sound very user friendly) and a few other definitions in the files... (gotta do that every time with every upgrade that comes along)

I think I'll stick to my schedule, but thanks for your personal point of view. Whether or not you update is and has always been totally - I mean as in I-couldn't-care-less - up to you.

PS:

on a legal note: there is a copy right on my work (regardless of it being freely available), which prohibits changing the code and redistributing it (e.g. installing it for your clients). just thought I mention it, so you can't say you didn't know.

I never suggested redistributing it and installing it for anyone else, I just have a bunch of editors and users that have access to this plugin in my blog, and the name "cForms||" on the tinyMCE button and in the WP menu isn't really the most "user friendly" name you could've came up with - not blaming you or anything, just a personal opinion.

So it's a lot easier for me to change the tinyMCE button name to something like "Contact Forms" or "Forms" or something more straight forward and then refer to that when I need to instruct the editors/users where to go/what to do, than it is trying to explain to them what cForms|| stands for and why it wasn't named something more meaningful...

But... with all the frequent releases and updates it's becoming a pain in the ass to do that. Again, no offence.

That, and this plugin seems to hang my plugins.php page in admin while checking for updates and such - it takes like 10 seconds to get through the check for cForms before the page is even able to load. As soon as I disable it and remove it (just move the cForms folder out of the plugins directory) there are no hickups and problems whatsoever... so, is there any way I can disable the plugin from checking for updates, just because of this, or is there anything you can do to fix the hangups?

Thanks.
