[desc]: I would just like the ability to verifiy email address for the user. The standard enter-it-twice scenario would be lovely. We get a lot of typo'd (@yhaoo.com or @hotmail.cmo, etc.)

That's already possible, see the Help page under 'Using regular expressions with form fields', the special example #2. :-)
