Sandra,

On a first glance, you have several issues with you form layout, once in fact renderin g your form(s) almost useless on Firefix browsers! Take a look at the following areas in your cforms CSS theme file:

  1. ~line 89: remove margin:30px;  from the :hover, this is damaging your layout severely
  2. ~line 51, .cform label {…: you need to reenter the original styles, otherwise you'll end up breaking the line:
    • display:-moz-inline-box; /*for mozilla*/
      display:inline-block; /*for Opera & IE*/

Also, you form (text-only) field: Have You Read Financial Freedom… apparently contains an HTML paragraph tag (A day) you may want to remove the paragraph tag to get the overall layout in line.

Thank you, Oliver! I have fixed the items you pointed out and I have one remaining question about the dollar sign. If I use the /$ command in the html code, what does that do? Since the dollar sign is part of the title of a published work, I am hoping to have it in the title and (also hopefully) to have it look as it does on the cover of the book; namely, Financial Freedom on $1 A Day, as opposed to Financial Freedom on $ 1 A Day. If I use the /$ command, will it allow me to display the $ sign properly or delete it entirely?

Escaping the dollar (backslash!) \\$ should work fine, just give it a try.

Hello Oliver,

Great. The \\$ worked great. But now something weird is happening with my forms. Lines are separating the different fields. I was using Firebug to help me edit my sidebar and the only thing I can think is that this affected my forms, although I don't know why it should…

Any ideas? Take a look at my forms at:

and

Please let me know what you think I can do to fix this.
