[desc]:I am having trouble getting any styles to actually apply. I have chosen a style, even opened it and made a copy, made some changes, saved, uploaded into the styles folder, applied it.

Still no joy - for instance, the form has numbers beside the text (ew). So I modified the cf.cf-ol to add a list-style-type:none but there are STILL numbers. This is the minimal.css styles. (well, my version of it - bdp-minimal.css that is a direct copy)

Oh, and the images are not being applied as background-images, either. The paths are correct as far as I can tell.

This is usually an indication of a poorly designed WP theme, which tends to overrule (via too global CSS specifications) less aggressive CSS settings.

cforms CSS settings are non intrusive and have not effect outside of the form, but can be (it happens often) subject to one's WP theme CSS.
