I love it too – I made the sweetcorn fritters, one of the lighter potato dishes and lots of the curries, all of which have turned out well.

Thank you for the recipe. Have seen this wonderful chef-Christine Manfield on the 2010 series of Masterchef Australia -just released in Ireland.

One of her signature dishes(squab was main ingredient)was used in one of the challenges.

She also gave a demonstration to two of the contestants on Rare Roasted Venison and the making of Garam Masala for her potato dish. dlightful!!

Loved this post. Being back from a 3 weeks vacation in India and after being mad for Indian cuisine since about 15 years (gosh! makes me look old!) I agree with everything Christine said. Thanks for this nice interview and the recipe. I need to have a look at this cook book. Even though I bought a couple of books in Delhi myself - oh, and spices, of course ;-)
