Wow, these little things are truly amazing. Never have I been swept of my feet by something to eat like that!
And all the time I had no idea this wonder of the world was out there...
Thanks so much for sharing this (and all the other treats as well)!

These look a lot like Yorkshire Puddings. Are they similar? They look like they might be a little lighter. And I love that they can be served with butter and jam.

That last picture is telling me to make these right away. Confession: I have never tasted popovers and never watched a Doris Day movie :(
Can you suggest one (maybe your favorite) for my initiation?

Hi Heena, I love all of her movies, but "The thrill of it all", "Send me no flowers", "Lover come back" or "The glass bottom boat" are real classics and hilariously funny.

This is pretty funny in that the picture of Doris' LP covers...I created that! It's framed and hanging right across from the bar's entrance. I purchased all the albums from eBay and scanned them in one-by-one. Took 6 months to finish that project (lots of editing). Anyhow, I gave one to the hotel, one for Doris (it's hanging in her home) and one each for her managers. There's also one in my vocalist's home in North Carolina. We do a Jazz Tribute to Doris www.DorisTribute.com If you go there, you'll hear an audio message from Doris regarding our show & her fans.
