2010
Recipe inspiration is ubiquitous today, cookbooks and magazines guarantee for constant inspirational influx. Yet when in doubt, I love to turn to food blogging buddies, whose recipe repertoire and quality level have proven successful over the years. Here are some awesome recipes, that made their way into my favorites folder last year and got cooked, baked or prepared multiple times since – and they for sure have the potential to make you food-happy, too:

Hande’s Decadence in Cubes (and again on delicious:days)
Is it a tart, is it dessert? Anyway, it’s serious business. I have yet to come across someone who doesn’t ask for a second and third bite.
Johanna’s Mango, Chili and Coriander Salsa
Need to bring a quick little something to a bbq-party? Don’t look any further. Perfect crowd-pleaser.
David’s Panisses (and again on delicious:days)
Taste wise regular fries will likely loose the battle against these. With good reason.
Elise’s Apple Crisp
You may not need a recipe for apple crisp, but if you do, this is the place to start.
Heidi’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
I’m not a chocolate chip cookie fan, but these took me by surprise. Although I don’t make mine as tiny as Heidi does. Addictive.
Molly’s Chickpea salad
“it’s such a simple recipe that I’m almost embarrassed to post it here”, that’s how Molly introduced this salad and that’s exactly how you get my attention. Since the necessary ingredients are always on my shelves, it’s become THE solution for quick appetite fixes.
Eliza’s Ensaimadas
Technically speaking Eliza is not a food blogger, yet she posts a lot of recipes on küchengötter.de and I already got to know her in person. Her recipes have not disappointed me once and these Ensaimadas are probably the most delicious way to smuggle lard in baked goods. Rather work-intensive, but worth every single second.
Wow. Those Ensaimadas are to die for!
Nicki,
Which brand of canned chickpeas do you use for Molly's Chickpea Salad?
Kind regards
Eva from Stuttgart
A recipe list so good, I need to bookmark it!
Oh that photo above of the ensaimada is just yelling to me to come take a bite ! The texture looks outstanding. Great list idea, and great selection of recipes too, thanks !
Yesss!

Thanks for the links! I have been waiting for the next post and here it is! A whole lot of links again!
I love that the chocolate chip cookies use a chocolate bar rather than chocolate chips. It adds a lot to the texture. Thanks for sharing!

Halloechen,
after discovering your # 1 two days ago i baked it yesterday and blogged about it today. I would have never thought that carawayseeds work in a dessert. Nice surprise.
vielen Dank!
"Dos ensaimadas, por favor" were the first Spanish words I learned after landing on Ibiza, in 1969. Can't wait to try the recipe!
Ich finde das Rezept ebenfalls super. Ich werde wohl aber beim nächsten Mal noch etwas Vanille-Zucker beigeben.
looks beautiful and delicious, I wish I can have a bit
I'm not exactly sure what that is... but all I know is that I would love to have some right now! Totally craving this baked goody!

Die Ensaimadas hab ich schon 2 mal nachgebacken, aber mit Butterschmalz. Extra für´s Frühstück (früher aufgestanden) und waren eine Wucht.
