I guess I&#039;ve been smothering my Mr. Pre-Pesto&#039;s...they always turned yellow and then nodded their little heads down to the table and peacefully gave up on me. I always thought I just had a black thumb, or I didn&#039;t get enough light in my north-facing kitchen window, or plants in general have declared war on me and refuse to co-exist in the same house as me. Nice to know I&#039;m not alone :)</description>

		<description>After killing a few basil plants myself I actually did some research on this and apparently alot of herbs don&#039;t actually like kitchens.  Something about the heat and, surprisingly, the smells turns them off.  Also, you have to be careful not to overwater them.  If the leaves are yellowing, it means they are getting too much water.  So, I&#039;ve been growing some basil in a pot on my balcony and it&#039;s actually doing quite well.</description>
