I had tried this before, and lost my recipe----so I bought a BACON cookbook, positive I would find a few variations on the basic candy. THERE WAS NO RECIPE for anything even close!!!!!!!!!! Boy, was I disappointed---the 'definitive bacon cookbook' and NOTHING .

I am going to try adding the cayenne pepper today---I use the baking method. One pound disappears way too quickly with my family!!!!

made these for Thanksgiving appetizer - big crowd-pleaser. I added chopped pecans and cashews to the mix - cooked for about 10 mins and ate while still warm. almost too good to be true...
