Penalty kicks are not a way to win a soccer game. Dont cry for me Argentina.

Eve

I stole a conference room at work and people were walking in and out the whole time. I actually screamed when that last goal went in. Fortunately, nobody in the Canadian military works after 1pm on a Friday so my resulting embarrassment was unwarranted.

oh man! i LOVE germany's football! though i thought it was quite sad that argentina got kicked out. and i'm still quite sad for kahn. i hope germany get into the finals! hahaha. i swear, everyone in singapore thought that brazil would be in the finals with germany. but look what happened! but i'm so glad that brazil is out and not germany!! hurrayyy! hopefully the world cup will be germany's this year!

The four weeks of a fantastic World Cup are finally over and it's hard to imagine life without it. Just kiddin'!
"Viva Italia" - last night's never ending chorus of horns showed once more, that Munich rightfully so is said to be the "most Northern town of Italy", our Italian friends were partying all night long.
A deserved win, albeit my personal impression that the French team last night seemed in control for most of the time, except at the end: Zinedine Zidane did a disservice for his team.
With that said, 54, 74, 90, 2010... ;)
