Wow. That's a serious (and delicious-sounding) party! How does one get on the invite list?! Seriously though, I can think of few things more wonderful than getting together with friends and eating...lovely.

Dear Maria,
I wished you could have come, too!!! With all your/our birthday dates, we sure would have had plenty of reason to celebrate big time ;) I'm also making progress in packing up something... ;)

Flo,
That's the result of my fleamarket love: I really don't want to know how many different glasses I own alltogether...

Hi Santos,
I'm quite sure, O. has saved the file, but since it didn't work out like he anticipated, he probably won't share it with the world ;) Happy holidays you too!

Hi Chiara,
Funny you mention chili powder, I also have a recipe using it, but since not all of our guest like to eat spicy, we went for the most compatible version... But be assured, I'll try the recipe for myself, because I have at least a pound of almonds left.

Alanna, Lisa, Paz, Ruth,
It truly was a great party. After wishing the last guest a safe ride home, I always ask myself, why I don't throw a party on a regular basis. Treasure good friends whenever you can ;)

Clare eats,
I think men tend to see the whole party planning much too rational. As for female party planners like you and me: Could there possibly be a more horrible scenario, than running out of food?

Julia,
I just started using Earl Grey tea for various food creations like chocolate truffles, during summer we even tried some homemade gelato, which we will definitely have again.

Hi Dana,
The funny thing about throwing parties is that once you start it, friends will chime in and throw one, too. I can totally relate to your food memories... especially the sugar part, just like my grandma used to drink hers.

I wish my friends had parties like yours. Earl Grey tea brulee is my absolute favorite. It tastes just the way my mom always drinks her tea. Two tea bags, cream until it's white, and too much sugar. Your recipe looks great.

I adore anything with bergamot -- you have just made my day with this latest recipe. I stumbled upon this site recently and it's already become my browser's homepage. You write beautifully and have a great palate. Thanks for sharing with the world!
