Hello! I only just discovered your blog, and now I'm reading it almost every day! I decided to try your ice-cream recipes, but I'm still waiting for my ice-cream machine :P I've been making my own tiramisù ever since I was 9 years old and I've always used the same recipe! (It happens to be almost the same as yours!) Today I'm going to make tiramisù with self-made ladyfingers :) Ascha from Holland

I've always been amused by foreigners love for tiramisu' and I like this version too.
I just wanted to add a couple of personal and familiar versions:
1. use "Strega" liqueur instead of coffee, but only this, as it's not too sweet and has a taste that matches with the mascarpone concoction;
2. instead of lady fingers you can use a bisquit, it works pretty well:
3. in my region (Modena) we have a cake (Torta Barozzi) that tastes like a very strong chocolate-coffee cake. We love to use this cake instead of lady fingers (with a few drops of Strega).

When I saw these pictures they made my mouth water!! I knew I had to make this for my wife and children and when I did they loved it!!Thank you!:) Hi Shana: I've got a great grown up Tiramisu Recipe . The alcohol used in this is a mixture of Tia Maria, Kahlua and Amaretto). Mmmmm ;) Happy cooking!:)
