Talking of Nana. She also did a wonderfull (jazz) track with Michel Legrand called Quand On S'aime.
What I really like about the Caterina Valente album is the great arrangements by Johnny Keating. The band is absolutely great.

Hi Ludwig,
looks like we don't live too far from each other :)
I have to admit, I just bought "Caterina Valente in New York" some weeks ago, what a funny coincident. I checked out some CDs with a similar style/concept at Ludwig Beck (great inspiration for finding new jazz music, but not always the best deals), e.g. Bert Kaempfert in London, Caterina Valente in London and Connie Francis in New York... Lots of good music out there!

Dreska,
good to see, that there are some other Nana fans out there. And of course I know (and love to listen to) George Benson! Seems we have a similar taste when it comes to music...

Your Nana-Mouskouri-treasure is from 1962. Maybe there's another even earlier recorded treasure to be discovered by you: Caterina Valente - In New York [1957] || Greetings from Orleansplatz, Ludwig ;-)

Very cute little tartlets - they have that 'bistro' look.
And I have just bought 2 packs of fresh puff pastry, load of fruit and also that fresh tuna , so I'll try both recipes.
Thanks.
p.s. Nana is a good singer. I love jazz! Play piano, however, love listening to guitar jazz - e.g. George Benson. Check it out.
