Apple Tart
Apple TartWell, we decided to put them to good use and treat ourselves with a quick apple tart. Sometimes we use a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the still warm tart -which really is a treat-, this time good ol’ whipped cream had to do :)
Is that us?
Wow! This is astounding…having moved up the ladder, from passive but massive [food-blog] reading to writing our own little culinary column…
Definitely Orange - IMBB no.14
Orange Tomato and Thyme TartWe had great fun last weekend roaming around Viktualienmarkt on the hunt for orange food without a carved in stone plan. Since we couldn’t decide on just one dish, we went for a quick, manageable 3 course orange menu.
Three Berry Lime Sorbet - SHF no.7
Sorbet…So I thought of a three berry lime sorbet, as a variation of our still unbeaten basil/lime sorbet (well, the basil/lime sorbet is not really our recipe, but one we did for several dinners and everybody seemed to be blown away by it :)
Glazed Tuna Appetizers
TunaWe found it very easy to make, extremely yummy with the adhoc yoghurt sauce creation and most definitely something we’ll do again as appetizers for a next event.
KitchenAid for the taking
KitchenAidOf course we could have walked in a store and bought one. But our approach was more fun, at times stressful and foremost unexpected.
Antipasto Speciale
Antipasto SpecialeOne of the Italian places we went to on a pretty regular basis (during our studies) inspired us to make these little, so yummy, appetizers.
Asian Delight / Teriyaki Chicken
JuicesLately at the Asian food store I had stop in front of all the different, enticingly designed juice cans. This time I told myself I’ll have to try them out…
An easy Saturday morning
ViktualienmarktOur typical Saturday morning looks like the following…
Our big fat Greek yogurt (part I & II)
Greek yoghurt with roasted nutsIt is so good, you could even eat it without anything. Sometimes we mix in seasonal fruits, other times we just top it with some self-made marmalade.
